As an inclusive therapist, I provide services to diverse populations who deal with varying stressors and challenges in life. I also want to give acknowledgement to the oppressive and discriminatory systems that work to marginalize individuals and groups in our society. These systems can have a negative effect on our mental health, as well as how we view yourselves and the world. By empowering yourself through therapy, you are making time to put your needs first and discuss issues that are important to your wellbeing. Everyone deserves a space to tell their story, which is what I can provide during our sessions together.
My education and work experiences have allowed me to serve families, caregivers, veterans, children, and adults. My main focus has been working with individuals with depression, self-esteem, stress management, parenting skills, building on coping strategies, mindfulness exercises and relationship issues.
Being a native Arizonian, it is great to see the state grow and I am thankful to be able to give back to my community through social work. I want you to feel comfortable in our sessions, so if you need to use a fidget toy, draw on a white board or choose to sit on a floor cushion instead of a chair, I can happily accommodate you!
