When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. - Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning.

Hello there and welcome! My journey towards becoming a mental health therapist was not very straightforward, but it seemed that I kept finding myself moving back towards this field. I didn’t choose this career, it chose me. Being with people while they experience the stuff that hurts is what has drawn me to therapy. Part of what I love about what I do is that I believe that all of us have a story to tell, and I am so grateful for all the clients that are willing to share their stories with me. It is my belief that everyone deserves to feel heard no matter how challenging the circumstances are. Each time a client is able to move through a difficult patch having learned new ways to accept his/her own experience, I get drawn in more. It's like helping people at a grassroots level. During my near 7 years in the field, I have enjoyed serving various populations in settings to include hospitals, schools, and in the community setting.
