As a therapist of color, I have experience identifying and addressing interpersonal and structural-based trauma. I seek to better understand how trauma, especially racial and sexual trauma, manifests in our bodies. My approach to healing work is holistic and grounded in a deep sense of care and humility and anti-oppressive values.
My practice is associated with the Critical Therapy Center, a liberation-oriented psychodynamic group practice committed to collective healing. I work individually with young people (ages 16 and up) and adults in the NY area addressing a range of issues, including: everyday stressors, anxiety and depression, peer relationships, family conflicts, sexual abuse, and trauma and PTSD.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am only offering remote sessions but will be able to also offer in-person sessions in the coming months.
Please Note: I provide all patients with an equitable, sliding scale fee. I do not accept insurance, but can assistance patients with out-of-network insurance reimbursements.
