My name is Willine Louis and I am a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who entered this field to help individuals with mental health conditions get the results they seek. In my 10 years working as a nurse practitioner, I have learned that many conditions share similar presentations. If you do not listen to your patients, you can easily misdiagnose them. Furthermore, people's lives are complex, if you truly want to help someone, you have to design treatment plans that work for them.
