Ms. Victoria Songonuga is a first generation Nigerian-American immigrant, an experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor(LCPC) and owner of ìtùnú wellness. Victoria acquired her Master's of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College.

Victoria enjoys watching Korean and Nigerian dramas, and spending quality time with her 2 puppies and cat, as well as her closest loved ones. Victoria is also a survivor of depression and enjoys advocating for mental health awareness within the West African community.

Victoria's passion for psychotherapy is evident in the care and precision with which she handles her clients. Victoria has been in the field of mental health since 2016, volunteering and working with children, young adults, and adults with various psychological concerns. She presents a warm, humorous, and comforting approach to sessions.

Victoria specializes in treating young adults and adults from various cultural backgrounds, using culturally sensitive approaches with cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based techniques to reduce mental health stigma, develop self-awareness and improve cognitive functioning. She offers a safe space for her clients to discuss their concerns freely and is committed to providing them with the best care possible.
