You feel stuck. Like you’re in a constant cycle of repeating the same unhealthy patterns over and over again. Your relationships feel toxic, but you can’t break free. You feel like you’re settling, and you’re tired of it.
You know you’re not living up to your fullest potential and you even wonder if you’re worth trying.
You consider vulnerability to be weakness, so you avoid it at all costs. You would rather focus on being strong and the one to take care of others because you don’t trust that other people can take care of you. You avoid setting boundaries with others because they are so used to you saying yes, that you fear they will be more upset if you say no. Instead, you keep showing up when you don’t want to. You keep doing everything for everyone else despite being exhausted and burned out. And you’re mad at everyone, but you won’t tell them that’s why you’re angry.
You distract yourself with busyness and doing more because the moment that you relax your negative inner thoughts tell you you’re lazy, you should be doing more, and you’re not good enough.
You’re realizing that the angry outbursts, the uncontrollable emotions, and the difficulty setting boundaries may be related to unresolved childhood trauma. You saw your parents fuss and fight with each other and yell at you as a child so you engage in the same behaviors when you’re mad. But you’ve struggled with these experiences for so long that they feel normal.
You struggle with knowing who you are, what your purpose in life is, and who God is calling you to be. You even question whether you can call on God at all because you’ve been told that if you pray hard enough, you will be okay. However, you’re still not okay. So you ask yourself “Is there something wrong with me?” “Does God still love me?”
You feel so alone and you know that if something doesn’t change now, you wonder if you’ll be able to make it another day without losing it.
You want to heal from your childhood traumas and experiences so that you can live a life that is healthy, whole, and full.
You want to understand yourself, your story, and your relationship with God more deeply so that you can have a stronger sense of purpose.
You’re ready to be intentional about yourself and invest in your well-being and healing.
You want to be more confident and bold in asking for what you want and need.
You desire the tools to cope with day to day stressors, set appropriate boundaries in relationships, and practice forgiveness of yourself and others.
You want to be freed from whatever it is that is holding you back from having all you deserve and more.
In our work together we will process negative past experiences and traumas in a way that allows you to no longer be held down by the weight of it all. We will increase your self-awareness so that you can make intentional decisions about how you want to show up in the world. We will explore and enhance your relationship with God and dispel the old tired myths that “just praying about it” should be enough. I will hold space for you, support you, and equip you with the tools you need to transform your life.
