Welcome,
I am Veronica Hill, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia and Maryland. I am the Founder of Promising Prep, a therapy practice dedicated to Black and Brown girls in the DC Metropolitan Area. I am passionate about cultivating spaces for Black girls to feel seen, heard and most importantly understood.
I have over 10 years of experience assisting adolescents and young adults with achieving their independent goals. I specialize working with clients who have experienced prior trauma in their home, school, or community setting. In addition, I am able to support with life transitions such as moving, attending a new school, dealing with a divorce or processing a family death. I am trained in following therapeutic models: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapies.
