Description
Life can be challenging and sometimes we get "tired of being tired" of trying to manage our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors alone. People sometimes ask themselves, " What is wrong with me?" and feel guilt and shame about feeling the way they do. My name is Valerie Parham- Ward, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R- Licensed in the State of New York) with several years of experience assisting people with Behavioral Health problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, family/relationship conflicts, parenting concerns, grief, life transition, retirement, disability including vision impairment/blindness, and other issues that make it difficult enjoy and cope with life. Individuals who engage in therapy with me will have a safe, respectful environment with a therapist who will support and believe in their ability to make changes in their lives. I have Bachelor's and Masters's Degrees in Social Work and have been trained in Evidenced-Based Treatment.
