Description

Valerie specializes in addressing serious mental illness, life transitions, stress management and general mental health issues. She uses a psychodynamic approach, along with CBT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing. This means, she offers a safe space for you to vent, emote and help make sense of the issues you bring to therapy by connecting prior life experiences to present day thoughts, actions and behaviors.

Valerie uses professional and personal experiences to shape her therapy style. She earned degrees from Kennesaw State University and Georgia State University, where she studied Psychology and Social Work. She has worked in community settings, gaining experience in non-profit organizations, the public defender's office and the VA. She is a proud United States Army Veteran.

Valerie is eager to collaborate with the people in her community. Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each client with virtual appointments and limited in-person availability. Check out the website and schedule your free 15 minute consultation today.
