Ericka Magee, LMSW, QMHP, is the Owner and Executive Director of Operations of Urbanistic Therapy LLC. Licensed Clinical Therapist and Detroit native Ericka Magee created Urbanistic Therapy LLC to offer a realistic and supportive approach to individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Ericka's goal is to empower individuals through a non-judgmental space where they can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal healing goals. Ericka provides psychoeducation to assist in recognizing and healing childhood trauma in adulthood, making connections to different traumatic experiences that may cause current conflicts in day-to-day interactions with self and others. Ericka provides support for anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, women's issues, and postpartum and pregnancy complications. Ericka is also extremely passionate about helping previously incarcerated individuals transition back to society.
