Tynisha previously worked as a Mental Health Clinician for over five years within higher education and an outpatient clinic that services Children and Families and currently has been in private practice for almost 2 years. She is integrative and uses a variety of theoretical approaches to help treat clients, but most often uses CBT, DBT, Solution-Focus, Person-Centered and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches.
Tynisha has supported clients managing symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, panic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, self-esteem and relationship issues. Her desire is to help her clients to have harmony between thoughts, feelings and actions. Tynisha strives to encourage and build up her client's self-esteem and her therapeutic approach involves understanding who the client is. She believes that overall wellness is achieved when a person is able to embrace their uniqueness, know their purpose and feel empowered to walk in the truth of who they are. Tynisha desires to help her clients become the best version of themselves in order to have increase life satisfaction.
