Description
This integrative approach is one of its kind in treatment of mental health, mental wellness, and mental illness. I work with patients in a 1:1 setting evaluating and understanding their underlying needs. I believe psychotherapy is helpful in changing one’s life. However, it is not the only option. I have traveled around the world studying and exploring the ways different cultures understand and search for happiness. As a trauma expert in the field, I have devised an integrative approach that uses meditation, animals, nutrition, movement of the body, and relationship building to improve one’s life and move them towards happiness. These adjunctive services will include meditation and yoga sequences from evidence-based research to support the processing of trauma exposure. I share my expertise in areas of trauma processing (neuroscience), attachment, intersectionality and oppression, and nutrition.
