I'm so glad you found me! I'm a LPC, operating virtually throughout the state of Texas, who specializes in couples counseling with an emphasis on conflict resolution and affair/betrayal recovery.
I also thoroughly enjoy helping adults who struggle with anxiety. Anxiety isn't just fear/nervousness. Anxiety happens when we aren't willing to process difficult emotions. Anxiety can present itself through anger (projection), isolation, busyness, and being unusually overwhelmed. As I operate within the Bowen Family Systems theory, a safe space is created that promotes the ability to process these undesired emotions lending the ability to promote emotional resiliency, maturity and balance!
Although mentioned last, my enthusiasm in working with individuals who've suffered from past traumas via EMDR is unmatched. EMDR identifies past traumas & processes them in a safe/controlled manner. Once your nervous system recognizes how safe it is in the current moment, your mind has the opportunity to form healthier conclusions concerning past events.
