I am Tiya Hurst, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BS in Psychology. I am also a certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have worked with diverse populations in multiple practice settings. I provide a safe, empowering and supportive environment to assist clients in navigating life's challenges and working towards healing from trauma. If you are struggling with feelings of despair and overwhelming feelings of stress, I can assist in helping clients learn new strategies to manage stressors and symptoms. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. I will assist you on your path to developing self-awareness, self-compassions and confidence, while also improving your relationships with others. I also enjoy working with children, ages 7 and up. I specialize in working with teens and can assist them in learning how to manage their emotions, improve communication and build better relationships with the adults in their lives.
