Description
Hi, I’m Tirrany.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about coming home to yourself.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 15+ years of experience supporting identity development, social justice, and emotional wellness. I specialize in working with Black women who are tired of being everything to everyone — and are ready to reclaim rest, joy, and wholeness on their own terms.
Many of my clients are navigating burnout, anxiety, grief, or the pressure of being “strong” in spaces that overlook their humanity. You might be holding it together at work, for your family, or in your community — but quietly asking, “Who supports me?” This is a space where you can exhale.
My therapeutic approach is warm, affirming, and rooted in liberation. I integrate narrative therapy, somatic healing, ACT, and Black feminist wisdom to help you process life’s demands and reconnect with your voice, body, and boundaries. I’m deeply influenced by thinkers like Audre Lorde, bell hooks, and Maya Angelou, whose work reminds us that our healing is not only valid — it’s revolutionary.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in higher education supporting students and faculty in creating inclusive, healing-centered environments. That background informs my work today: I understand the complexities of navigating race, gender, and identity in systems that weren’t built for us.
In therapy, you don’t need to over-explain. You don’t need to be perfect or polished. You just get to be — seen, heard, and held.
If you’re a Black woman craving space to soften, reflect, and grow without judgment, I’d be honored to support you.
