Description
I am a Clinical Social Worker with several years of dedicated experience working with adults struggling with multiple mental health disorders and emotional injuries. I am currently focused on helping individuals navigate through depression, anxiety, grief, challenges healing from traumatic experiences, and life transitions. I am driven to teach black women how to live unapologetically in their story and find peace with who they are despite any unpleasant life experiences. My aim is to teach skills that promote resilience while strengthening self-compassion and self-acceptance.
I am a small practice owner and therapist at Resilient Driven Life, LLC. My motto has always been, "Let's just help people feel better," but over the years I've realized that this does not happen without a feeling of purpose, meaning, and a great deal of self-efficacy.
My goal is for every client to walk away from therapy feeling more hopeful, knowledgeable, and resilient. Each person is the author of their story and I focus on teaching my clients how to own their past stories and take control of how they want their future chapters to be written.
