Description
Dear Black Girl,
Are you tired of…
Measuring your worth based on your productivity?
Living your life to please others, while silencing yourself in the process?
The crippling anxiety and depression that no one see because you’re “The Strong One”?
Not sleeping because of the fifty-leven things running through your mind?
If you allow me the privilege, I want to walk with you on the journey to pour into yourself and give yourself permission to take up space. I want to support you as you say, “No!,” communicate your boundaries more assertively and authentically, and feel free to be real–not just “strong.”
I am a trauma-conscious somatic therapist who integrates traditional talk therapy, yoga-informed practices (e.g. movement, breathwork, meditation), and nervous system regulation techniques to support Black women healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, and low self-worth.
Throughout our work together, I will challenge you to speak a little kinder to those parts of you that need nurturing and care, and encourage you to commit to showing up for yourself first. My hope is that by the end of our work together you begin to trust yourself more as you practice being the imperfectly beautiful woman that you are.
If you’re ready to grow towards the life you’ve always wanted, contact me today to schedule your 15 minute “Discovery Call.”
Outside of the therapy space I love listening to my favorite podcasts: The Read, The Friend Zone, Crissle's Couch, and Gettin Grown. I enjoy laughing, yoga, dancing, listening to music, traveling, and being in nature.
