I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) servicing the state of California and Nevada. I specialize in individual and couples’ therapy. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, East Bay and received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
To ensure my ability to provide services to individuals from varying life experiences and cultural backgrounds, I have become well versed in a number of therapeutic approaches including: Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma focused, and Relational Therapy.
Common areas of focus in my sessions include trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQI concerns, Substance Use concerns (Harm Reduction and Complete Abstinence) and Interpersonal conflicts.
During my career, I have worked with individuals from an array of different backgrounds and beliefs including: children, blended families, people with substance use concerns, LGBTQI identified folks, victims of trauma, sex workers, older adults (65+), millennials, dually diagnosed individuals, individuals with chronic medical illnesses and clergy staff just to name a few.
