Description
My path to this work is both personal and professional. As a Black woman who has faced her own struggles with body shame and emotional eating, I understand how deeply these experiences can shape the way we see ourselves. That journey inspired my passion for helping other women heal their relationship with food, body, and self — and to do so in a space that feels culturally safe, affirming, and judgment-free.
With 12 years of clinical experience and 5 years in private practice, I specialize in supporting Black women navigating emotional eating, disordered eating, body image, and self-worth challenges. My approach blends DBT, CBT, IFS, and mindfulness to address both emotional and cultural roots of your pain — not just the surface behaviors. Together, we’ll work to unlearn perfectionism, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect with your body through compassion and balance.
Healing isn’t about control — it’s about understanding, freedom, and coming home to yourself. You deserve to feel at peace in your body and confident in who you are.
