Life sometimes throws us lemons so how do we make lemonade using lemons? I help people figure that out and learn how to cope in the process.

My approach is person- centered meaning that I meet my clients where they are; I help clients deal with what they are dealing with in order to move forward. I work with clients to improve their relationships with others and create more fulfilling ones too because relationships are important in our lives.

I have additional training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I sometimes integrate DBT to help my clients manage difficult emotions; cope with stress; build resiliency to discomfort or pain in order to become the person they desire to be.
I work at Emory University’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and have a private practice; I have extensive experience working with college students and adults. My style is very accepting, affirming and collaborative. Specialty areas:
• Teenagers (15+ up) and Adults
