Description
When a client initiates therapy services, I am aware of what it might have taken for that individual to make the call. Taking the leap towards wellness and embracing the therapeutic journey takes courage. Just like the butterfly, a transformational process occurs within us that allows us to walk in our beauty, however, the process is not always pretty.
I work with women of all ages to address issues of anxiety, depression, self-worth, life transitions, and addiction and relapse prevention. I strive to create an environment where my clients feel seen, heard, and supported as we work together to reach their goals.
I work from a person-centered approach, as I believe the client is always in the driver’s seat. I also utilize a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
For the past five years, I have worked in diverse therapeutic settings, both inpatient and outpatient, as well as community mental health. I have worked with adolescents and women experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addictive behaviors.
