Description
I went into the mental health field to help people navigate their inner struggles and assist them in their journey to become whole and find peace. I am a believer in whole health, meaning I will address mental, physical, emotional and spiritual issues in sessions. I believe in providing a space where your voice can be heard and acknowledged, and I provide a constant stream of motivation and support in my client’s decision to choose themselves for once.
I seek to assist my clients with their breakthroughs and answer the million-dollar questions of, “Who am I,” and “Why.” My overall goal as a therapist is to provide a safe environment for those who are lost and seek purpose and clarity.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. I additionally earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Phoenix. My clinical experience includes CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other evidence-based interventions; however, I utilize an eclectic, person-centered approach to helping my clients. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults and adults. My specialties include anxiety, depression, parental wounds, self-worth/confidence, stress management, and phase-of-life issues.
