Hi and Welcome!
My name is Tashea Walker and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. In my 3 years experience, I have supported adolescents and their families in addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, parental struggles, lgbtq+ issues, and career exploration.
I would like to think of my foundational theoretical orientation as solution focused but I include other therapies to meet clients where they are. I am integrative due to my usage of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and techniques from other theories.
