Congratulations in taking this step in your therapeutic journey. My name is Tamitha and I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, Holistic Healer and the founder of Hello Beautiful Therapy.

I have a bachelor's degree in social work from Howard University; a master’s degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University; and a bachelor’s degree in Metaphysics from the University of Sedona. Having over 30 years of professional clinical experience and working with those managing conflict and trauma has equipped me to help you identify what is not working and get you to your state of balance.

We will use a whole-person approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I integrate talking, mindfulness and getting aligned to how your body feels to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I love mixing body movement work and conversation to get to the root of your struggles.

Whether you are dealing with feeling overwhelmed, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I am here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but you are making the right choice and have taken the first step. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. It is my belief that we are all beautifully made regardless of any challenges we may be experiencing. Personal and professional experiences have shown me that life is about transitions with some being more difficult to navigate than others. My focus is to provide an authentic, safe, affirming, and compassionate space to help you navigate through challenges and to create balance. I see you as the expert of your life with unique strengths and needs; my help is aimed at building healthy ways for you to think and respond by taking intentional actions based on motivation and not fear. We use strategies such as conversation, worksheets, mindfulness, grounding exercises and check-ins between sessions. I look forward to helping you reach your identified goals leading to the balance you desire with an abundance mindset.
