Description

I offer a warm, down-to-earth, and interactive approach. I believe a lot of what you're able to accomplish in therapy is dependent on the relationship you're able to build with your therapist. During our first session, I'll ask a bunch of questions to get a better picture of you and your life journey. Collaboratively, we will identify goals centered around what you hope to accomplish in therapy.

We will then use these as guideposts to assess progress and steer the direction of our work. I will listen without judgment, provide support, and assist you in creating positive changes in your life by increasing awareness of thought patterns, behaviors, and beliefs to help you gain insight and new perspective, learn to challenge your thoughts, and develop and practice new coping skills.

In my private practice, I work mostly with millennial women dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, difficulty navigating life-stressors, and setting boundaries/communication issues, and couples looking to deepen intimacy, strengthen communication, restore trust, navigate reconciliation post infidelity/trauma.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Attachment-based Therapy, and The Gottman Method. My approach is integrative, meaning I utilize a combination of therapeutic techniques depending on what best suits the individual/couple.

I am licensed in the state of NY & NJ - which means you must live in one of these states in order for us to work together.
