Compassionate Counseling & Support Services, LLC is a therapy practice providing an inclusive, safe, non-judgmental, and emotionally supportive environment that focuses on, but does not limit perinatal mental health and women’s services to, Women of Color and those who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, Board Certified Counselor, and Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor trained in perinatal grief and loss and perinatal mental health services to better serve women and families.
These services are offered virtually and, per request, through Walk-and-Talk Therapy. We will also offer a 12-week support group for expecting Mothers and New Moms who are looking to build peer support, community, and connection with other Moms who share similar experiences. Compassionate Counseling’s mission is to empower women as they navigate motherhood and life’s many transitional challenges as a woman.
Compassionate Counseling is built on the core values of: Embrace, Heal, and Restore. Compassionate Counseling’s mission is to dismantle the stigma attached to perinatal mental health for Mothers, primarily Mothers of Color.
I am currently accepting new Clients. Complimentary 15-minute phone consultations are offered for those interested in learning more about our services. I am paneled with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford and Evernorth (Cigna) EAP. In closing, after recognizing the racial disparity for Women of Color, it has been a true passion to break the silence for reproductive racism and racial disparity in maternal health treatment.
