Greetings, I am Mo. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and 200-hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Trained.
I have spent numerous years working with diverse populations the mental health profession, as a community mental health counselor, clinical supervisor, facilitating support groups, and in other various capacities.
Noticing the many disparities present within the Mental Health and Wellness community, during my own healing journey I became determined to break barriers within the wellness community.
My goal through Mo Healing Yoga & Wellness, LLC is to create spaces for all Black, Indigenous, and Persons-of-Color and those who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ to heal and have access to Mental Health and Wellness services that are inclusive and affordable.
Through both experiences, I have learned that wellness must recognize the generations of trauma and how that impacts an individual. When people heal their trauma, they are healing for generations past and to come, for we are the new ancestors.
I offer virtual sessions to maintain social distancing practices.
