You feel stuck in survival mode even though you have achieved “success”. You replay distressing moments and conversations in your head because you just can’t stop thinking about it. You have difficulty setting boundaries and maintaining healthy relationships. You feel like you’re destined to be alone forever. You question your identities and doubt yourself. You're often in rooms where you don't see yourself represented. You struggle to balance multiple responsibilities and stay true to yourself.

Instead, you want to be able to manage your anxiety, stress or trauma to have a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others. You want to enjoy life after the hard work you put in. You want to gain coping skills that work, set boundaries that stick, find yourself, and start healing in a space free of judgment.

Hi! I'm Sydney, a clinical social worker here to offer that space while promoting healing, authentic self-expression, and healthy relationships. I take a trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally aware approach tailored to clients' individual needs in the Black, African Diaspora, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Additionally, I work with Highly Sensitive Persons. My goal is to help you manage difficult emotions, experiences, and relationships.

However, we will collaborate on the focus of sessions so that you are comfortable with your treatment goals. It is essential that you have a voice in your care!

I often help with the following concerns:

• Racial, Relational, Sexual Trauma
• Attachment Wounds
• Trauma and PTSD
• Stress, Anxiety, and ADHD
• Interpersonal Relationships
• Ethical/Consensual Non-Monogamy
• Inclusion and Belonging
• Issues with Family of Origin
• Intersectional Identity Work
• Major Life Transitions
• Transitions into Tech
• Boundaries, Coping Skills and Mindfulness
• Immigration Evaluations
