Are you tired of feeling stressed and anxious most of the time? Do you often find yourself saying “it is what it is” and pushing through the day? Have you been responding to situations in ways that don’t help you? We’ve all been there. I know it is frustrating, but the good news is that life doesn’t have to be this way.
Most distress comes from unresolved trauma and an inability to communicate effectively with others (at work, in relationships, etc.). Fortunately, once trauma is resolved, communication becomes easy. As a counselor who has worked in colleges, outpatient clinics, and other settings, I have spent well over 4000 hours helping people overcome these challenges.
I am trained in specific trauma-focused interventions (i.e., the Flash Technique). However, research suggests that you get the most out of therapy when you like and trust your therapist. My approach is easy-going, compassionate, and curious. If you would like to feel less inhibited and live more meaningfully, please do not hesitate to reach out.
