The process of starting therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming, but can also be enlightening and rewarding. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I offer a collaborative approach to therapy, providing support to each individual along their journey toward self-discovery and growth. My goal is to help you identify and utilize your inherent strengths and learn adaptive skills to aide in developing a strong sense of self, reach your personal goals, effectively manage life’s challenges, and cope with emotional distress. Moreover, I believe that therapeutic work is most productive when aligned with an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment, which I intend to offer each person. I tailor treatment to meet the unique and diverse needs of every individual.
I use an integrative approach to treatment, combining specializations in psychodynamic and evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Also, my interest in the mind-body connection with my background as a professional dancer/dance educator allows the unique opportunity to incorporate movement-based interventions. I have expertise in treating children, adolescents, and young adults, presenting with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, ADHD and interpersonal difficulties.
I am passionate about supporting individual’s efforts toward improving health and wellness, as well as offering guidance on ways to access intrinsic strengths in order to experience personal success.
