Hello and Welcome!
My name is Kendra F. Dunlap. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of experience providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed therapy to adolescents and adults. I work from a core belief that we all deserve a fulfilling, enriching, empowered life that allows for healing, connection, and genuine relationships.
My clients are looking for a safe and supportive space where they can bring their authentic whole “self” and explore and discuss issues centered on intersectional oppressions, identity exploration, trauma exploration, managing anxiety and stress, depression reduction, relational and attachment struggles, managing imposter syndrome, improving self-esteem, and increasing communications skills.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, which emphasizes safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment. I utilize IFS (Internal Family Systems), EMDR, Attachment-based, Cognitive Behavioral, and Sensorimotor modalities in my work.
