Description
The Black woman's experience creates bountiful, regenerative strengths and unique challenges. Our resilience and ability to nurture and support others is like no other. However, to continue to thrive and be our best selves we must place our own needs for support, care, and understanding front and center. My therapeutic approach focuses on helping us understand how your life experiences, including trauma (i.e., unresolved hurts from family, personal, and professional relationships, and life altering occurrences) impact and reveal themselves in your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions and impede you from being your best self. Our work together will involve psychoeducation and mind-body awareness and attunement in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I look forward to providing you with general support or help with: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships, role changes, self-esteem, and trauma.
