Description
SISTER W.E.L.L.S. was co-founded by three sorority sisters, Dr. Sherra’ Watkins, Dr. Charla Blumell, and Dr. Shawnte’ Elbert. Additionally, Dr. Shawnte’ and Dr. Sherra’ are identical twin sisters.
A team of skilled psychotherapists and coaches with over 10+ years of experience. They created Sister WELLS with a desire to empower BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color) women in working towards their desired goals while experiencing the process in a safe and nurturing environment.
As women, we often give so much of ourselves to our jobs, families, and friends, that we lose ourselves and focus on the daily struggle of just surviving. Just trying to make it from day to day.
It is the premise of Sister WELLS to encourage women in need to “dip into the W.E.L.L.,” and draw out what they personally need in order to become healthier, happier and whole.
We provide individual, couples, family and group counseling. Along with individual and group coaching. We specialize in helping BIPOC women in the areas of anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions, relationship issues, perinatal & postpartum issues, grief, chronic diseases & chronic pain, trauma, career counseling, sex education, professional mentoring, and wellness coaching. Together we will explore the blocks, fears, anxieties and specific situations that stand in your way of fulfillment, your purpose, healing and recovery. If you want to try something different, give counseling or coaching a try and give us a call!
Our Motto: Empowering the Individual. Transforming the Experience to Wellness.
