I hold a degree in Sociology from Oakland University, and obtained my Master graduate counseling credentials from Spring Arbor University. With over 14 years of practical experience, I specialize in therapy for depression and anxiety, family and relationship counseling, and developmental disability support (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional). Having a background with working with people on the Spectrum and other developmental disabilities.
My clinical approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a Person Centered approach. I am inspired by a genuine desire to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. I innovate new approaches to meet each individual’s specific needs.
I offer mental health and emotional stability support to the greater Detroit area. My approach promotes social-emotional development through psychotherapy and integrated health services. I utilize eclectic treatment models that meet each client on their own terms, creating a flexible environment for personal growth and empowerment. I strives to support a diverse community, guiding others in achieving their highest potential.
Touting a strong belief in the healing power of community, I also facilitates workshops and group therapy. I am additionally certified to provide LPC supervision. My unique blend of qualifications and passion for improving lives, makes me a caring and dedicated mental health care provider.
