Description
Suffering through hardships with the support of others is far better than suffering alone. Once we begin to understand the causes of our problems, discomforts and deprivations, then relief can happen. Psychotherapy is helpful in discovering the challenges and conflicts responsible for one's difficulties, often bringing about a new perspective that can help an individual view themselves through a lens of compassion and empathy. I believe change is facilitated when a person feels understood in their own pain.
I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy with adults from an in-depth perspective of understanding each individual's uniqueness. I work to build self-awareness and help clients meet life's challenges towards fulfillment. My specialties include anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, and difficulties relating in relationships.
