You’re ready for change, you know there is a better way to live, and you’re prepared to make an effort through therapy. Finding real solutions takes commitment, and it can be hard to do on your own. That’s why I’m here to guide and support you on this journey to wellness, and my mission is to help you thrive. My name is Sheila Mendoza-Cordero, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Thrively providing psychotherapy services to individuals. When we meet, you’ll find that my therapeutic style is warm, supportive, compassionate, and collaborative. I treat everyone with dignity and respect, and I welcome you to come as you are.
I have over six years of experience doing clinical work with children, youth, families, and adults. My specialties include but are not limited to trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and life stressors. I adapt my treatment approach to meet your unique needs.
I believe that with guidance, everyone can meet their goals and maintain mental wellness. I invite you to take the first steps to change and know that I will be here to support and encourage you. I hope that you will have reduced symptoms, life-long coping skills, mental wellness, and a happier life by the end of treatment.
