Hi, I’m Shanti, the founder of Something New Counseling and Wellness. I’ve always felt a deep calling to support others in their personal growth and healing. After working in community mental health and gaining years of experience in trauma-informed therapy, I knew it was time to create a space where women could feel empowered, heard, and supported on their journey toward healing. That's how Something New Counseling and Wellness was born—an inclusive practice designed to help women overcome the challenges that life throws their way.
I specialize in working with women who are navigating the impact of unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, and the stress that comes along with life as busy women juggling careers and relationships, all while trying to make time for ourselves. I understand that the weight of it all can feel overwhelming, but I also know that healing is possible.
