Description
Many Black women are taught to be strong—to hold everything together, push through the stress, and show up for everyone else. But strength doesn’t mean you have to carry everything alone.
I provide therapy for those who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, family expectations, and the emotional weight of always being “the strong one.” If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, unseen, or emotionally exhausted while still trying to keep it all together, therapy can be a space where you finally exhale.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my work is centered on helping clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel safe expressing their emotions without judgment. In our sessions, you don’t have to perform, code-switch, or over explain. This is a space where you get to just show up and exist without worry. Together, we’ll explore how your life experiences, relationships, and expectations have shaped the way you move through the world. We’ll work on building healthier boundaries, strengthening your sense of self, regulating overwhelming emotions, and developing the confidence to show up in your life more authentically.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. The goal is to help you develop deeper self-trust, heal from past experiences, and create a life that feels more balanced, aligned, and fulfilling. You deserve support that truly sees you—and therapy can be a powerful step toward that healing.
