Description

Have you ever had something traumatic to happen that has had a significant impact on your life? Are you constantly reminded about the event? Are you an African American collegiate or professional athlete who feels like you are not performing well, or an African American woman who is struggling with or has survived human trafficking (sex working)? Having racing thoughts? Not enough time in the day? Feeling like you are losing your identity due to work, parenthood, or marriage? Overreacting or not feeling any emotion whatsoever? Are you a breast cancer patient/survivor under the age of 40? If any of this hits home, then I am the therapist for you!

I have been a National Certified Counselor (#302785) through the National Board of Certified Counselors since 2012 and a Licensed Professional Counselor (#1877) through the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors since 2014. I am also licensed in the state of Georgia (LPC011614).

I am Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) trained. I am newly trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I specialize in anxiety, trauma-related disorders, self-care, stress management, self-identity, women's issues, and emotional disturbance.
