Description
Breathe Again Counseling Center is a trauma-informed therapy practice dedicated to supporting Black women, girls, and individuals navigating anxiety, relational stress, identity concerns, and emotional overwhelm. Founded in 2020 during a time of collective grief and social unrest, my practice was created to offer a space where clients can pause, exhale, and begin healing in a way that feels grounded, affirming, and culturally responsive.
At Breathe Again Counseling Center, I understand how often Black women and girls carry the weight of expectations, responsibilities, and unspoken pain. Therapy here is relational, compassionate, and paced to your needs. I focus on helping clients develop emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, establish healthy boundaries, and reconnect with themselves beyond survival mode.
My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care, while honoring each client’s lived experience, cultural identity, and personal story. We believe healing happens best in a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported.
Breathe Again Counseling Center serves clients via telehealth and is committed to helping you find steadiness, clarity, and room to breathe again at your own pace.
