As your counselor, my approach is to assist you in this season be asking you questions to help you discover or rediscover your purpose in an empathetic and curious way. We co-create an environment of exploration by finding ways to encourage authenticity to enter our space so that we can explore route causes of learned behaviors and decisions in an environment of care and compassion. During our process, we work to untether you from patterns that have not served you in the past as you work towards a redefined future. This work is done by gently challenging these patterns, and providing direct feedback to you in the process. I also believe in the practices of empowerment, solution-focused strategies, and trauma-informed mindfulness practices as we go on this journey of discovery together.
