My ideal client is honest, consistent, motivated, imperfect, and looking for a safe place to help guide them through their journey. I work with women and men of color, 15 years old and above who are looking for a safe place to open up and share their journey towards healing. As your therapist, my strategy is to help you enhance your strengths and abilities within.

Socioeconomic differences in the black community has had a negative effect on our income, education, and health/mental health, which is why working with a non-black counselor could be challenging. I am available to help you process anger, grief, stress, and depression. Additionally, I can help you establish effective communication skills, maintain healthy relationships, and strengthen your confidence. I also offer premarital counseling services to couples who are looking forward to becoming married.

Our mindset can either move us forward or hinder our growth. It’s time to turn the page in your life’s journey and I am here to help you!

I received both my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in social work from Clark Atlanta University. I have 8 years of combined experience in palliative care, group homes, HIV/AIDS, and working with veterans. I currently only accept self-pay clients at an reduced rate while working towards my clinical license.
