Description
You don’t have to be falling apart to start therapy. A lot of the women I work with are the “strong ones”—the ones who show up, handle business, and keep everything moving but feel overwhelmed, mentally drained, or stuck underneath it all.
I work with Black women who are used to being high-functioning and holding it all together, even when it’s heavy. Whether it’s anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, or major life transitions, you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
As a Black Licensed Clinical Social Worker, creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood isn’t just important to me—it’s personal.
My style is real, supportive, and nonjudgmental. You don’t have to code-switch, over-explain, or shrink yourself here. We’ll talk things through, make sense of patterns, and build coping skills that actually fit your life—not just sound good in theory.
I use a mix of CBT, trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing, but more than anything, I meet you where you are.
If you’re used to being the one everyone depends on, reaching out might feel unfamiliar. But you deserve support too. When you’re ready, I’m here.
