Description
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia specializing in maternal mental health, which includes all things motherhood (from struggles on the path to motherhood - infertility and pregnancy loss, pregnancy, the postpartum period, and beyond).
I'm a graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, and received my Community Counseling Master's degree from Clark Atlanta University. With more than 17 years of experience, my counseling approach is humanistic and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. The primary frameworks I use with clients are cognitive behavioral, family systems, and somatic experiencing.
Healing is a process. It takes time. And, I'm committed to supporting my clients through their own process. While healing can be uncomfortable, over time it creates more expansion and freedom, as well as more capacity.
