I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia specializing in maternal mental health, which includes all things motherhood (from struggles on the path to motherhood - infertility and pregnancy loss, pregnancy, the postpartum period, and beyond).
I'm a graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, and received my graduate degree from Clark Atlanta University. With 15 years of experience in the field of counseling, my counseling approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. However, the primary frameworks I use are cognitive behavioral and somatic experiencing.
I view healing and growth as a process. It takes time. And, I'm committed to supporting my clients with their process. While it can be uncomfortable, over time healing and growth creates more expansion and freedom, as well as more capability.
