Description
Ruby is a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and teens. She earned her Masters of Mental Health Counseling degree from the Capella University and BS from Spelman College in Atlanta.
Ruby’s experience includes working with children, adolescents and families in emergency shelters and advocacy centers and private school education in Georgia. She works with issues of abuse, anger, anxiety, depression, frustration tolerance, probation, social skills, self-harm, self-esteem, body image, suicidal ideations, and trauma as well as other mental health concerns. Ruby also has experience working with families and parents who have experienced traumatic events that require reunification of a family member.
Ruby believes that counseling provides the best opportunity for self-discovery, self-awareness, and problem-solving.
