Description
Being a Black woman often means carrying a lot that others do not always see or understand. You may feel pressure to be strong, hold everything together, or push through even when you are overwhelmed. You might be dealing with anxiety, overthinking, intrusive thoughts, relationship stress, or the impact of past experiences, all while trying to show up for everyone else.
Therapy with me is a space where you do not have to perform or be everything for everyone. You can show up as you are.
My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, with a focus on helping you build insight and confidence. Together, we will explore what you are experiencing, identify patterns, and work toward responses that feel more aligned with who you are and what you need.
I work with clients experiencing OCD including intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and trauma and PTSD. I use evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and DBT skills, and tailor the process to fit you.
This space is about helping you better understand yourself, set boundaries, and create room for your needs, your voice, and your healing.
You deserve support that sees you fully.
