Have you ever felt it was easier to forgive others rather than yourself? Feeling stuck but having no guidance or safe space to share? Have you held onto guilt and shame, allowing it to cloud your life? How many of us hold shame due to a past romantic relationship, shame because you made a decision that altered the plans you had for your life and have anxiety or depression due to such experiences and projecting these experiences in your current relationships. Have you paused and asked yourself, “Who am I?”
We are proud to have Tierra Ruffin and Ashley Stowe in our office. Both talented therapists offer a trusting, empathic approach to helping you achieve your goals. Below is a short bio of each counselor, but please feel free to read more about these therapists on our website. We're ready to help!
Tierra Ruffin: I would be happy to Journey with you. I work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate what we call, “Life” Understanding that it is not perfection but progression. Such issues include but not limited to, Single parent complexities, Divorcee’s, Pre-marital Counseling, Dating Relationships, Low self-esteem/self-worth, Faith & Spirituality, Couple concerns, Anxiety and Depression
I am currently a Graduate Student at Christian Theological Seminary.
Ashley Stowe: I believe that everyone can benefit from having support in their life. Certain experiences in life require the need of more support than others such as having a child, coping with a life-changing medical diagnosis, entering adulthood, a breakup or divorce, a loss of a loved one, exploring new passions or finding your purpose in life, and so on and so forth. I will be there to listen, support, encourage, and promote your ability to learn new coping skills to help overcome the challenges you have faced in your life. I involve mindfulness techniques to promote self-awareness and reduce stress at the beginning and end of each session.
