Conceived by a yearning to occupy spaces where there is need, it is my intention to honor your self-determination while collaborating with you on your journey. I intend to work with you in creating a place for inner work; an invitation to unabashedly examine oneself.
I practice using an eclectic approach; meaning therapy is guided by your individual need(s) and unique motivation(s). My eclectic approach to talk therapy uses mostly psychodynamic, somatic, and rational emotive (and other) behavioral therapies. A Psychodynamic approach seeks to examine past experiences that result in negative cycles of thought(s) and behavior(s). Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy seeks to change limiting underlying beliefs that disrupt the present ability to thrive. Somatic experiencing increases awareness of body sensations that influence thoughts and feelings; also to increase nervous system regulation to decrease discomforting symptoms.
In all matters of self-work and discovery, your autonomy and ethical treatment are of the highest priority for the creation of a therapeutic environment.
