Description
Whether your process is delicate or vigorous, I facilitate a safe, client-centered practice. My anti-oppressive praxis - informed by years of being a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and community organizer - affirms Black life, LGBTQGNC identity and culture, neurodiversity, pronouns, diverse relationships, and consent. I enjoy psychoeducation and building a partnership with my clients that explores systems and various approaches to solutions for problems that feel palpable and overwhelming. I use evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and breathing exercises that will help you regulate and function optimally. I am patient, an effective listener, and ready to be your accompagnateur. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
