We understand the value of mental wellness even when you aren't experiencing a crisis in your life. Our focus has maternal/ reproductive mental health for black women ranging from pregnancy, postpartum, challenges with conceiving, infertility, IVF, infant loss, termination of pregnancy, parenting, co-parenting challenges, and self identity for new moms.
We believe in providing therapy for women to experience a better quality of life such as learning to set boundaries, career pivots, navigating friendships in adulthood, stress management, burnout, and high functioning anxiety, race and cultural challenges.
Our expertise over the past few years has centered around millennial aged black's women' mental wellness and maternal mental health. We cater to the therapeutic needs for women who are thinking about becoming a mother, pregnant, & in the postpartum period.
Allowing clients to understand how their brain works in relation to trauma in adulthood is a speciality of our practice. We work with clients in deconstructing childhood and generational trauma to guide clients to navigate in healing their inner self.
We currently provide individual therapy, couple's perinatal therapy, and support in navigating through co-parenting. We provide a wide range of treatment options for women across the lifespan especially during the period of pregnancy and the postpartum period.
We understand the challenges black women face. We provide offer a variety of treatment options for women experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders also known as postpartum depression.
We have certifications in Trauma, EMDR, and Perinatal Mental health. We believe therapy should be a safe place where you do not have to worry about being judged or ridiculed its simply working on you.
